I am delighted to be part of the EmployAbility service in supported employment. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Community Development from the University of Ulster. I have over 25 years’ experience in working in the community and voluntary sector supporting disadvantaged communities and vulnerable people to achieve their goals. During this time, I have successfully supported individuals into Employment, Self-Employment, Education and Training initiatives. I have a passion for supporting those most disadvantaged and at risk in our society including families, people with varying level of abilities, young people and those most isolated in our communities. I am a director on a number of community and not for profit organisations. I have a keen interest in outdoor pursuits, walking, going on adventures and finding hidden gems and scenic routes in our beautiful countryside.

My name is Joy Hone and I work as an Administrator with Employment Response North West since 2005. Prior to this my background was in Finance and Administration and have been very fortunate to have more than 20 years’ experience in this area.

My name is Ciara White Assistant Coordinator with EmployAbility Northwest, covering Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal. We currently have a team of 10 Job Coaches and our service is continuing to expand and grow. I am passionate about promoting our service and appreciate having the opportunity to advocate, empower and encourage a person-centred approach on behalf of our clients. Part of my duties is the induction and continued mentoring of Job Coaches, providing support and guidance on a one-to-one basis and in a group setting. I was previously employed for 10 years as a Job Coach with EmployAbility Northwest and as an Employment Team Leader in Northern Ireland for an organisation called Mencap. An interesting fact about me is I took part in the RTE programme Nationwide to promote our clients and service.

My Name is Marie Murphy and I work as a Job Coach for EmployAbility North West I am based in our Inishowen office Buncrana. I have over 20 years’ experience of supporting and guiding individuals into work. I am passionate about making a difference, being organised, and getting jobs done. It is important to me to help and support individuals to take on new challenges and explore new ways. Another aspect of the job I really enjoy is talking and listening to local employers, finding out what they require for their business and finding a good Job Match. I have studied Community Development, Human Resources, Employment Law and Social Studies. I am a Big Leinster Rugby supporter and not forgetting Dublin GAA.

Hi, my name is Lenka and I work as a Job Coach in the Sligo Office. I've joined the EmployAbility team in February 2021. I have a degree in Social Care and years of experience in direct care services for people with disabilities. I really enjoy seeing people discovering and living up to their own potential and I'm grateful for being part of their journey to paid work. In my spare time I love music and dancing Salsa.

Hi, my name is Anne and I work as a Job Coach in the Sligo Office. I joined the EmployAbility team in June 2022. I graduated with a degree in Social Anthropology and later went on to complete a masters in Adult Guidance Counselling. I have a background working in the world of business, youth and community work and the humanitarian sector. Working as a guidance counsellor for the last 10 years I have experience supporting people with different abilities transition into employment, training and further education. My aim is to make that journey a positive experience for everyone involved, to break down barriers, identify opportunities and help navigate obstacles that may occur along the way. My professional background is in health & social care and I recently completed postgraduate studies in Leadership in Health & Well-being. My name is Sinéad Ryan. I joined EmployAbility Northwest in August 2024. I am a Job Coach for Leitrim area. My passion is encouraging people to realise their true potential using a person-centred approach so they can achieve their life goals. One of my life goals is to publish my own book, another is to master playing the Ukelele! I have a keen interest in Homeopathy, Dance and Movement. My education is in Humanistic Integrative Psychotherapy and have worked in this area for over 10 years. My Name is Fiona Carty. My background is in Science, however I returned to third level education recently to study Social Prescribing and Community Development. I am passionate about helping people and love to see people reach their full potential. In my spare time I enjoy reading and walking.
